Alexandre Lacazette has told Lyon he wants to leave the club this summer amid interest from Arsenal, claims L’Equipe, via Get French Football.
The France international has been regularly linked with a move away from Lyon in recent years and was subject to a bid from Newcastle in January.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing the striker as they look to bolster their offensive ranks and the 25-year-old has asked for permission to leave should an offer come in.
Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic (57) has scored more goals in the last two Ligue 1 seasons than Lacazette (48).
