Chelsea agree Pulisic deal

Chelsea have agreed a £45m deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign Christian Pulisic at the end of the season, claims German outfit Bild.

Pulisic will only have 12 months left to run on his current Dortmund deal next summer and Dortmund have decided to cash-in on the United States international.

Manchester United and Liverpool have previously been heavily linked with a move for the 20-year-old but appeared to have lost out to their Premier League rivals.

Chelsea are planning for a life without Eden Hazard, who is expected to join Real Madrid next summer, and have seemingly lined up Pulisic to replace the Belgium international.

Pulisic has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in Europe over the last few seasons but has lost his place in the Dortmund set-up to England international Jadon Sancho this term.

Losing Pulisic would previously have been deemed a huge loss to Dortmund but he is now deemed surplus to requirements because of Sancho.

Pulisic has only made 11 league appearances in the Bundesliga this season, with only five of those as starts.

Despite dropping out of favour this season, no player has completed more dribbles than Pulisic in the Bundesliga since August 2016 (96).
