Chelsea to use loan star as makeweight for Romelu Lukaku

Chelsea want to include loan star Tammy Abraham in a deal to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton this summer, reports The Sun.

Abraham, 19, has enjoyed a superb campaign on loan at Championship side Bristol City this season and had hoped top use this as a springboard to work his way into Antonio Conte’s first team plans at Stamford Bridge next season.

However, Conte may have other ideas and include the teenager in a deal that will see Lukaku return to Stamford Bridge just three years after leaving to join Everton on a permanent deal in 2014.

The Belgium international has emerged as a top transfer target for Conte’s side this summer but Everton have slapped a £100m price tag on his head in a bid to ward off potential suitors.

Abraham became the youngest player in 20 years to score 16 goals in the Championship back in February and the England Under-21 international has added to that tally since. In fact, only Chris Wood (25) has scored more goals in the Championship than Abraham this season (23).
