Inter have entered the race to sign Leicester striker Islam Slimani, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.
Antonio Conte is desperate to sign a new striker before Friday's deadline to complete Inter's month of spending.
Inter have already raided the Premier League for Ashley Young, Victor Moses and Christian Eriksen this month and are now eyeing a move for Slimani.
The Algeria international is currently out on loan at Monaco but wants to cut short his move if the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United or Inter want him.
Both Tottenham and United have been heavily linked with a move for Slimani as they look to reinforce their offensive options following injuries to Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford, respectively.
However, it has now emerged Inter are keen on the 31-year-old after appearing to accept defeat in their pursuit of Olivier Giroud.
The Chelsea striker has agreed personal terms with Lazio, while Newcastle and Tottenham are also trying to prise the France international away from Stamford Bridge.
Slimani was a revelation for Monaco during the first half of the campaign but is no longer being picked by the Ligue 1 outfit.
The former Sporting forward has played a direct hand in 14 goals in 13 league appearances this season (seven goal, seven assists).
