Leicester will turn their attentions to Norway international Mohammed Elyounoussi if they fail to keep hold of Riyad Mahrez at the end of the season, according to ESPN.
Mahrez, 25, has been one of the stars of the Premier League this season and his performances have understandably courted interest from the biggest sides on the continent.
Leicester do not want to sell their creator-in-chief but know they may be powerless to keeping the Algeria international if a big fee is put their way.
The Foxes are already putting plans in place to prepare for life without Mahrez, with Molde’s Elyounoussi heading the list of potential replacements.
Elyounoussi, 21, has scored 36 goals in 78 games for Molde since arriving from Sarpsborg in 2014 and, with just over 15 months remaining on his current deal, would be available relatively cheap.
The Norway international scored three goals in seven appearances in the Europa League this season, before holders Sevilla knocked out Molde in the last round.
