Real Madrid enter race to sign teenage striker

Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe, according to Spanish publication AS.

Mbappe has established himself as the most sought after attacking talent on the continent following some superb displays for the Ligue 1 side this term in both the league and Champions League.

The 18-year-old, who has been likened to former Arsenal hero Thierry Henry, has a lengthy list of admirers in Europe, with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and the Gunners all keen on the teenager.

The trio, among others, however will face stiff competition from Real Madrid in the race to secure Mbappe’s signature, should Monaco sanction his sale.

The French outfit will command a top fee for Mbappe and it’s only likely that a world record fee for a teenager would convince the club to sell.
