Former Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie has been made available for transfer this summer, according to Fenerbahce president Azil Yildirim.
Van Persie, 31, only joined Fenerbahce last summer from United in a £4m deal but has struggled to adapt to life in Turkey.
The Netherlands international has been involved in a number of disputes with the club in the last 12 months after notably falling out with manager Vitor Pereira.
“Van Persie? We’re waiting for buyers, if he wants to be sold,” Yildirim told Manchester Evening News.
Despite only making 20 starts for the Turkish giants, Van Persie still weighed in with 16 goals in his first season, finishing as Fenerbahce’s top goalscorer in the league.
