Napoli are weighing up a €50m (£42.3m) move for Inter captain Mauro Icardi and are willing to include Manolo Gabbiadini in the deal as well, reports Italian outlet La Repubblica, via Football Italia.
Maurizio Sarri’s side are looking to invest in their squad following Gonzalo Higuain’s €94m departure to Juventus earlier this month and have already been linked with a number of strikers across Europe.
Inter president Erick Thohir has already insisted Icardi is not for sale this summer but Napoli are poised to make one final offer in an attempt to land the Argentine striker.
Napoli reportedly value Gabbiadini at €25m (£21.1m), which would mean the deal they are pondering would be worth a staggering €75m (£63.4m).
Only Higuain (54) has scored more goals in the last two Serie A campaigns than Icardi (38).
