Liverpool will hand Andrew Robertson with a new long-term deal that will double his money, claims The Daily Mirror.
Robertson only joined Liverpool last summer but has been a revelation for Jurgen Klopp’s side since the turn of the year.
The Scotland international was forced to be patient for first-team chances at the start of last season but is now Liverpool’s undisputed first choice left-back.
Robertson still has three years remaining on his existing Liverpool deal but the Merseyside outfit are poised to reward the 24-year-old with improved terms.
Liverpool have made a considerable effort to secure the futures of some of their best players in the last 12 months and Robertson, as well as Mane, are next in line to benefit from bumper new deals.
Robertson is now considered the best left-back in the Premier League alongside Chelsea ace Marcos Alonso and the terms in Liverpool’s proposed new contract will see the Scot earn £60,000-a-week.
Of left-backs that have made more than 10 Premier League appearances in 2018, Robertson has garnered the highest WhoScored rating (7.17).
