Tottenham have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou after finally agreeing a £9.5m fee with Ligue 1 outfit Marseille, reports The Guardian.
Nkoudou, 21, has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham this summer but a deal looked dead in the water earlier this month after talks broke down.
However, Tottenham have managed to revive the deal by sending Clinton Njie on a season-long loan deal in return, with Nkoudou set to sign a five-year deal having completed his medical last month.
Nkoudou was particularly impressive in the Europa League last season where he played a direct hand in six goals in seven appearances (four goals, two assists). Only three players gained a higher WhoScored rating in the entire competition than the Marseille winger (7.84).
