Juventus interested in PFA Player of the Year nominee

Juventus are putting plans in place to sign a replacement for Claudio Marchisio with Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante heading the list, reports Tuttosport, via Football Italia.

Marchisio, 30, is waiting for scan results to find out the extent of his cruciate knee injury that has ruled him out for the remainder of the season and the Euros in the summer.

The Italy international is looking at a six-month spell on the sidelines and Juventus are already weighing up their options and looking to sign a replacement.

Kante, 25, has been on the stars of the Premier League this season and his tireless running at the heart of Leicester’s midfield has been a contributing factor behind their meteoric success.

In fact, no player has completed more tackles and interceptions combined across Europe’s top five leagues than Kante (283).
