Chelsea are hoping to secure the services of Antoine Griezmann if Eden Hazard leaves Stamford Bridge, reports the Mail on Sunday.
Griezmann has proven to be a sensational signing for Atletico Madrid following his arrival from Real Sociedad 18 months ago having netted 34 goals in 59 appearances for the La Liga giants.
However, Diego Simeone recently admitted he would be powerless to stop the Frenchman from leaving should he want out of the Calderon.
Chelsea have been credited with a long standing interest in the 24-year-old and they could make their move to land one of their top targets should Hazard depart for pastures new.
Hazard has been linked with a Stamford Bridge exit, with Real Madrid and PSG both rumoured to be keeping tabs on the Belgium international.
Griezmann is believed to have a £60m buy-out clause in his contract and it's thought Chelsea would need to match that if they are to convince Atletico to sell.
