Real Madrid give Juventus permission to speak to full-back
Real Madrid have given Serie A champions Juventus permission to speak with out of favour full-back Danilo over a possible move to Turin, reports Calciomercato.com.
The Old Lady are looking to secure a replacement for Dani Alves, who on Wednesday was told he can leave the Italian giants this summer, with Chelsea and Manchester City interested in the Brazilian.
Real Madrid are open to selling the right-back, who has been a bit part player since move to the Bernabeu from FC Porto two years ago.
However, any move is dependent on Juventus’ pursuit of compatriot Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich, with Max Allegri also looking to lure the winger to Italy.
Juventus, though, can only register one non-EU player as per Serie A rules, so should they sign Costa, then any move for Danilo would be dead in the water.
The 25-year-old defender left FC Porto the same summer as current Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, who could be on his way out of the club this summer with Chelsea interested in the Brazil international.
