Paul Pogba has fuelled further speculation regarding his future after revealing this could be his final year at Juventus.
The former Manchester United midfielder was one of the most sought after players during the summer but resisted a late move to Chelsea to remain with the Serie A champions.
“Why did I stay? Why not? It was not a certainty that I would leave, I could very well have stayed,” Pogba told Telefoot in France.
“I am at Juventus, I am only thinking about Juventus… I am at Juventus, but I do not know for how long. We will do this year and then see how things go.”
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Derportivo, the France intenational will only consider leaving Juventus for Barcelona, despite a wealth of interest from the Premier League.
Pogba, 22, has been tipped to be a future Ballon d’Or winner and the interest surrounding him is understandable. No player has scored more goals from outside the box than the Frenchman in the last two Serie A campaigns (8).
