Danny Drinkwater is unsure where he will be playing next season as Chelsea have not returned with an improved offer for the Leicester midfielder, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Chelsea had a £15m bid for Drinkwater rejected earlier this summer but still consider the 27-year-old a top transfer target.
Antonio Conte is desperate to bolster his midfield options in the wake of Nemanja Matics’ departure and hopes to reunite Drinkwater with former Leicester team-mate N’Golo Kante.
However, Chelsea will have to at least double their opening offer to even convince Leicester to sell one of their most important players this summer.
