Paris Saint-Germain have made Neymar their top transfer target and are willing to match his €193m (£155m), according to L’Equipe, via 101 Great Goals.
Neymar, 24, has been regularly linked with a move away this season with the likes of Manchester United among those interested in the Brazil international.
The Barcelona forward has arguably been the best player in Europe this season and the reigning European champions are determined to extend his stay beyond his current deal which is due to expire in 2018
According to L’Equipe, PSG have already put the wheels in motion to getting a deal concluded having already spoken to Neymar’s father and agent. Laurent Blanc’s side are also convinced they can manage this deal around Financial Fair Play (FFP), especially with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani linked with summer moves away.
Neymar is currently the highest rated player in Europe’s top five leagues (8.47) having played a direct hand in 31 league goals in 27 appearances this season for Barcelona (21 goals, 10 assists).
