Chelsea have reportedly agreed a shock deal to sign Internacional midfielder Charles Aránguiz.
Aránguiz, 26, played an instrumental part in Chile’s first ever Copa America title earlier this month and had also been a target for London rivals Arsenal and Ligue 1 outfit Marseille.
However, both have missed out on the midfielder’s signature, after reports from France emerged claiming Marseille were told a deal had already been struck with the Premier League champions.
Chelsea are yet to confirm the deal, but it is believed Internacional value the midfielder – who earned a place in WhoScored.com’s Copa America team of the tournament - at £16.1m.
