West Ham are willing to pay £15m for Stoke midfielder Joe Allen but have been told he is not for sale at any price, claims The Daily Mail.
David Moyes is desperate to bolster his midfield options and has already failed with a bid for Bournemouth ace Harry Arter.
The Hammers boss has now turned his attentions to former Liverpool midfielder Allen, but been told he will have to look elsewhere for a January signing.
Losing Allen is not an option for Stoke, who are currently considering Mark Hughes’ future after a miserable first half to the season.
The 27-year-old has contributed one goal and four assists from central midfield for Stoke this season, starting all but two of their Premier League matches thus far.
