Barcelona midfielder won't consider Tottenham switch

Coutinho is adament that he will not be moving to Tottenham in the future, according to Sport via The Daily Mail.

The Brazilian was tipped with a Premier League return last summer, with Spurs a possible destination for the attacker.

Coutinho eventually moved to Bayern Munich on a season long loan with an option to buy, which the German side won't be taking up in the summer.

Parent club Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for the 27-year-old as the look to cut their losses on the former Liverpool man.

A move back to England is supposedly on the cards, but the Brazil international will not consider a move to the north London side.

A deal to take Coutinho to Spurs fell through at the last minute after Daniel Levy looked to reduce the finances involved and the transfer collapsed.

Coutinho remains angered at the Spurs supremo and, as such, any deal to take him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium can be ruled out.

The on-loan Bayern attacker started the campaign as a key man for the Bundesliga side, but featured largely as a substitute following Niko Kovac's dismissal in November.

Coutinho's best rated Champions League performance this season came in Bayern's 3-1 home win over Tottenham, where he returned a WhoScored rating of 8.95.
