Tottenham expect Juventus to bid for England international
Tottenham are willing to cash in on Kieran Trippier this summer and expect Juventus to bid for the out of form right-back, claims The Daily Telegraph.
Juventus are edging closer to a deal to sell Joao Cancelo to Manchester City and Maurizio Sarri’s side would need to sign a replacement at right-back.
The Old Lady have emerged as surprise suitors for Trippier despite the fact the England international struggled for form last season.
Trippier was a standout performer for England at the 2018 World Cup but has lost his place in Gareth Southgate's squad in the space of 12 months.
Tottenham are willing to cash in on the 28-year-old this summer and will only demand £25m from foreign clubs.
Napoli were heavily linked with a move for Trippier last month but their interest appears to have cooled as they prioritise deals for Kostas Manolas and James Rodriguez.
Despite his struggles last season, only Harry Kane (7.38) earned a higher WhoScored rating than Trippier (7.10) of all Tottenham players in the Premier League (5+ apps).
