Edinson Cavani is considering a contract extension currently on the table with Paris Saint-Germain, according to RMC, via Get French Football.
The Uruguay international has just over two years remaining on his current deal and has been heavily linked with a summer move away from the Ligue 1 champions.
However, the 28-year-old has reportedly now been offered the main central striker role following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and he is now weighing up his options.
Cavani dropped down the pecking order under Laurent Blanc this season but still managed to weigh in with 19 goals and five assists from 32 league appearances.
