Bayern Munich have announced Kingsley Coman has put pen to paper on a new six-year deal running until 2023.
Coman’s previous deal was not due to expire until 2020 but Bayern have moved to secure the long-term future of one of the brightest wingers in Europe.
The 21-year-old spent two years on loan at Bayern before the Bundesliga giants made his switch from Juventus permanent in April.
Coman struggled for game time under former manager Carlo Ancelotti but has developed into a first-team regular since Jump Heynckes returned to the club at the start of October.
“I’m delighted to be able to carry on playing for this club for many years to come,” he told the club’s official account. “I feel very much at home at Bayern and in Munich.”
In the last three Bundesliga campaigns, Coman has completed more dribbles (158) than any other player.
