Everton have rekindled their interest in Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega, according to the Daily Mail.
Banega’s contract is due to expire in the summer and the Argentina international is yet to negotiate a new deal at Sevilla.
The Toffees tried to sign the 27-year-old during David Moyes tenure and could look to make a cut-price swoop for his services in January.
No Sevilla player is being fouled more often per game in La Liga than Banega this season (2.3).
