Tottenham still interested in Madrid creator

Tottenham are expected to rekindle their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to the London Evening Standard.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were heavily linked with an audacious loan move for the Madrid midfielder at the end of the summer transfer window.

The Spain international has dropped down the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane and has already admitted he would have no problem in leaving Madrid if he fails to gain first-team chances this season.

Tottenham are waiting in the wings and Isco could come available for a good price, as he would have entered the final 12 months of his existing deal next summer.

Since August 2014, Isco has completed more dribbles than any other Madrid player in La Liga (145).
