Man Utd preparing official bid for Sancho

Manchester United have not given up hope of landing Jadon Sancho and are preparing an offer for the Borussia Dortmund ace this week, claims Dagbladet.

Sancho has been United's No.1 transfer target ever since they secured Champions League football for this season but talks with Dortmund have been at impasse for months.

United have agreed personal terms with Sancho and his representatives but Dortmund insist he will not leave for anything less than their €120m (£108.7m) price tag.

Dortmund even consider the case closed after United failed to sign him before their August 10 deadline but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side haven't given up hope with just over a week to go in the window.

United still believe Dortmund's valuation is unrealistic in the current climate but are reportedly set to lodge an official offer in the next few days.

The Red Devils are willing to spend big to land Sancho but are hoping to agree a structured deal with Dortmund that would be spread over seveal years.

Sancho, 20, has played a direct hand in 34 goals in 34 league appearances since the beginning of last season (17 goals, 17 assists).
