Atalanta are weighing up a January move for Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin, reports SportItalia, via Football Italia.
Nice shelled out €10m (£8.8m) to sign Saint-Maximin from Monaco over the summer after he impressed during a loan spell with Bastia in Ligue 1 last season.
Despite the fact he has only been at Nice for less than two months, Atalanta are keen to sign the 20-year-old in January and have reportedly even made efforts to secure an agreement.
However, Atalanta may be forced to break their club transfer record to land the France U21 international, as Nice would want look to make a significant profit if they even contemplated selling so soon.
Since the start of last season, Saint-Maximin has completed at least nine more dribbles than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues (158).
