- Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes named an unchanged Killie team after they clinched an emphatic 4-0 Boxing Day battering of Aberdeen in Ayrshire, before they lost by a sole goal to in-form Hibernian in Edinburgh on Sunday afternoon.
- Robby McCrorie continued in goal at Easter Road. Corrie Ndaba, Joe Wright and Lewis Mayo continued in the Killie backline. Danny Armstrong was sent off against Hibs on the right hand side, as Fraser Murray continued on the left.
- Liam Polworth, David Watson and Brad Lyons were the trio chosen in midfield. Kyle Vassell was joined by Bobby Wales in attack as Bruce Anderson and Innes Cameron, who both scored against Aberdeen, were sat amongst the substitutes.
- St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson named just one change to the Saints team that clinched a late 2-1 victory over Rangers in Paisley on Boxing Day, before a home defeat to Dundee by the same scoreline on Sunday.
- Ellery Balcombe continued in goal behind Alex Iacovitti, who replaced Richard Taylor, Alex Gogic and Marcus Fraser in the Buddies' backline. Elvis Bwomono and Declan John started at right wing-back and left wing-back respectively.
- Oisin Smyth accompanied Killian Phillips in midfield to cope with the absence of club captain Mark O'Hara. Roland Idowu joined Greg Kiltie in support of lone striker Toyosi Olusanya, who scored for Saints in the defeat to Dundee.
