- Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers named four changes to the Celts side that shut out Atalanta 0-0 in the Champions League to pick up a precious point in Bergamo, before they got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Motherwell.
- Kasper Schmeichel continued in goal, behind an unchanged back four of Alex Valle, Liam Scales, Auston Trusty and Alistair Johnston as Greg Taylor and Cameron Carter-Vickers continued to miss out through injury.
- Captain Callum McGregor and Arne Engels made way in midfield, as Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo were handed starts. Daizen Maeda kept his place as he and the incoming James Forrest supported Kyogo as opposed to Adam Idah and Nicholas Kühn.
- Dundee manager Tony Docherty made one change from the Dee team that clinched a much-needed away victory over Motherwell by a sole goal at Fir Park, before they lost in controversial circumstances 2-1 to St Johnstone on Saturday.
- Trevor Carson continued in goal behind Ryan Astley, Clark Robertson and Billy Koumetio in the Dee defence. Ziyad Larkeche and Ethan Ingram continued as the wing-backs. Finlay Robertson and Lyall Cameron remained in the middle of the park.
- They were joined by Mo Sylla, who returned from his suspension, who took Scott Fraser's place. Simon Murray, who netted the opener against St Johnstone at Dens Park, partnered Curtis Main up front.
