St. Johnstone
Ross County
- Andy Kirk made two changes after St Johnstone were swept aside 6-0 by Celtic at McDiarmid Park, before his spell as interim manager came to an end with a 2-0 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox before the international break.
- Kyle Cameron picked up a hamstring injury in the defeat to Celtic so Andre Raymond, Jack Sanders, Lewis Neilson and the incoming Aaron Essel made up the back four behind Ross Sinclair in goal
- Sven Sprangler and Matt Smith remained in the middle of the park, as Graham Carey dropped onto the bench. Drey Wright, Makenzie Kirk, Nicky Clark and the returning Benji Kimpioka looked to provide some attacking threat for Saints.
- Ross County boss Don Cowie made just one change after Hearts nicked a late leveller as the Staggies left Edinburgh with just a point, before they took the lead against Celtic before the Hoops were victorious 2-1 in the Highlands.
- Ryan Leak joined Akil Wright and Kacper Lopata in the trio of County centre-backs behind Ross Laidlaw in goal. Elijah Campbell kept his place on the left side of defence, as Michee Efete continued at right wing-back.
- Noah Chilvers joined Connor Randall and Josh Nisbet in midfield once more. Aidan Denholm is on loan from Hearts so missed out against his parent club but returned, in place of Jordan White, to support Ronan Hale in attack.
