- Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes named two changes to the Killie team that continued their fine recent run against Hearts at Tynecastle and won 2-1, before they blew a two goal lead at Dens Park to lose 3-2 to Dundee last Sunday.
- Robby McCrorie remained in goal behind a back four of Corrie Ndaba, Stuart Findlay, who was stretchered off and will face a significant spell on the sidelines through injury, Robbie Deas and Lewis Mayo.
- Matty Kennedy and Danny Armstrong continued to provide the width on the flanks as David Watson accompanied Brad Lyons in the middle of the park. Kyle Vassell, who netted the midweek winner in Edinburgh, was joined by Bruce Anderson in attack instead of Marley Watkins.
