Team News

West Ham
Ipswich
  • Edson Alvarez returns following a ban, but might have to settle for a spot on the bench should Julen Lopetegui elect to continue with an unchanged XI.
  • Niclas Fullkrug will be assessed ahead of Saturday's game.
  • Harry Clarke and Nathan Broadhead are both doubts for Saturday's trip to West Ham.
  • Janoi Donacien remains Kieran McKenna's only confirmed absentee.
  • McKenna may go with the same XI that started the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

Prediction

  • West Ham's winless run extended to five matches with a 1-1 draw with Brentford last weekend. With no midweek game, the Hammers have had ample time on the training pitch to prepare for the welcome of Ipswich.
  • The Tractor Boys came from behind to rescue a point against Aston Villa last time out and they have now drawn four on the spin following a difficult start.
  • Ipswich may have to settle for another draw when they make their first trip to West Ham since 2011 this weekend.

  • WHU looks like a work in progress, not as a team (yet?), they miss a real striker for tactical set-up, I would try Bowen there as did Moyes with successful outcomes. Ipswich as their coach stated has improved indeed (look at my 99% Ipswich not lose vs Villa prediction here), but the quality of the players of the WHU should prevail here. 2-1.
