Dundee FC
- Rangers boss Philippe Clement named two changes to the Gers team that swept ten-man Kilmarnock aside 4-1 at Ibrox, before a 2-1 defeat to Celtic in Saturday lunchtime's Old Firm has left them needing a miracle this midweek.
- Leon Balogun hobbled off against Killie, but was unable to recover in time for the derby day defeat. His replacement was Ben Davies on the day, and he made way for the Welshman to enter the Rangers back four at the weekend.
- John Lundstram will miss this match after being sent off at Celtic Park. The only other alteration saw Tom Lawrence replace Todd Cantwell, who joined Fabio Silva and Dujon Sterling in support of Saturday's scorer Cyriel Dessers up front.
- Dundee manager Tony Docherty made three changes from the Dee team that saw St Mirren clinch an impressive 3-1 victory at Dens Park, before the Dee were hammered by Hearts 3-0 at Tynecastle on Saturday.
- Ryan Astley replaced Ricki Lamie, to join Antonio Portales and Aaron Donnelly in the Dundee defence in Edinburgh. Malachi Boateng took Mo Sylla's spot to sit between Luke McCowan and Lyall Cameron in midfield.
- Jordan McGhee continued at right wing-back, whilst Owen Dodgson carried on at left wing-back. Michael Mellon took Scott Tiffoney's place to partner Amadou Bakayoko in attack.
