Like their opponents, Gimnasia La Plata have struggled to put a consistent run of form together in the early stages of the season, but they can look to the bulk of chances created on most occasions to know consistency in this regard should eventually translate to goals scored.
Rodrigo Castillo and Matias Abaldo have made a flying start to the season with six goals between the pair already and that strike partnership will be key to their improvement into more consistent form.
