Team News

RBL
Bayern
  • Amadou Haidara is nearing a return from a muscle injury, while El Chadaille Bitshiabu will be out for several months with a knee injury. Dani Olmo and Willi Orban are both ruled out with knee problems, with the Spanish international the closer to a return.
  • Manuel Neuer's comeback is on hold after breaking his leg in a skiing accident in January. Serge Gnabry broke his arm in the cup win in midweek and will be out for several weeks.
  • Defenders Matthijs de Ligt (knee), Kim Min-Jae (thigh) and Dayot Upamecano (adductors) are all struggling with niggles. Thomas Müller also missed the cup game with adductor problems.

Prediction

  • The Bundesliga Match of the Day with the leaders Bayern taking on 4th placed Leipzig who took four points off the perennial champions last season.
  • Bayern have scored in 32 Bundesliga games in a row, last failing to find the net in September last year, while Harry Kane has become the first Bayern player ever to score seven goals in his first five Bundesliga games.
  • Leipzig did lose on the opening weekend to Leverkusen, but apart from that have been absolutely faultless.
  • Both played in the DFB Pokal in midweek, but Bayern have 24hours more rest and recuperation and goals can be expected at both ends in an away win.

  • Ulreich calamity again. At fault for both goals. Peretz should get a chance

  • @alx30 Now escaped red card and penalty conceded by a very close offside call. Not sure how much longer Bayern can afford this crap.

  • Over 3.5 goals.

  • @Marbella Goals were never in doubt !

  • 2-2 equal teams

  • 2:1

  • 1X

  • DC 1X - 1U

  • Clear victory for Bayern.

  • @neumi17 Hahahahahahahaha

  • @neumi17 What is this prediction based on? Or do you merely expect a regression to the mean after the combined 6-1 of Leipzig vs. Bayern in their last two games?

  • @stuckonautomatic Because Leipzig won 2 games they are the favorite? Bayern had collected themselves together before this game and wanted revenge whereas Leipzig looked very shaky last game.

  • @neumi17 I didn't even claim that Leipzig are the favorites. I just doubted that it would be a "clear victory for Bayern" .

  • @stuckonautomatic I thought it would be since Bayern really, really wanted revenge and were in much better shape. If they had played the first half as the second they would have won. Two complete different halves ...
