- Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes named two changes to the Killie team that clinched a 1-0 win against Motherwell at Rugby Park, before they fell to an away day defeat to Hibernian at Easter Road by the exact same scoreline.
- Stuart Findlay, Joe Wright and Lewis Mayo continued in defence, but were joined by Robbie Deas as Killie shifted to a back four. Rory McKenzie replaced Brad Lyons to accompany Liam Donnelly and David Watson in the middle of the park.
- Matty Kennedy started on the left-hand side of midfield, taking Liam Polworth's place. Danny Armstrong stayed on the right flank, with Marley Watkins starting as the sole striker. Kyle Vassell or Andrew Dallas are hoping to be given the nod up front.
- Hearts boss Steven Naismith made one change after the Jambos clinched a 2-1 win over Motherwell at Fir Park before the international break, before claiming their third league win on the spin thanks to a sole goal success against St Johnstone.
- Kye Rowles, Frankie Kent and Stephen Kingsley continued as the Jambos' back three. Alex Cochrane started at left wing-back with Alan Forrest at right wing-back. Jorge Grant replaced Calem Nieuwenhof in the middle of the park.
- Beni Baningime sat behind Alex Lowry, who got further forward to support Liam Boyce and Lawrence Shankland in attack. The likes of Yutaro Oda and Kenneth Vargas came off the bench, aiming to make an impact.
