Team News

Osasuna
Cadiz
  • Jose Arnaiz suffered a thigh injury following his efforts to contribute to the 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad away from home last week, in what was arguably Osasuna's best performance of the season.
  • Lucas Torro and Jon Moncaloya returned to the side last week and should keep their places in midfield after earning a clean sheet - Moncaloya also recorded an assist.
  • Fede San Emeterio is back in training and should be available in midfield this weekend against Osasuna.
  • Cadiz are licking their wounds after a 2-0 loss at Betis last week, Juanmi was introduced at half time but was unable to help mount a comeback. Ivan Alejo should keep his place at right-midfield.
  • Roger Marti is still a great loss at the spear of attack, Chris Ramos and Ruben Sobrino look to be the preferred striking partnership.

Prediction

  • A confident Osasuna welcome a struggling Cadiz to El Sadar on Saturday, a side the hosts haven't lost to since September 2017. Unai and David Garcia, along with Lucas Torro are the only players remaining in La Liga this season that played in that game.
  • Cadiz were unlucky to not only lose to Betis last weekend, but also saw Mallorca and Sevilla come away from their weekends with inspired wins, lowering Cadiz's odds of survival even further. Thanks to Celta losing, though, the hosts have the opportunity to level on points with them if they can beat Osasuna on Saturday.
  • Osasuna have been unpredictable of late, losing 3-0 to 17th placed Celta the last time they played at home. However, the confidence gained from the victory in San Sebastian last week should carry them through here.
