Team News

Rotherham
QPR
  • Matt Taylor could hand a start to experienced centre-back Daniel Ayala on Saturday, while Sebastian Revan and Sam Clucas are also options.
  • Lee Peltier has joined the Rotherham injury list ahead of the visit of QPR.
  • Marti Cifuentes could sanction a switch to a 4-2-3-1 system for his first game in charge with Jimmy Dunne returning after serving a suspension and Elijah Dixon-Bonner earning a game in central midfield.
  • Unfortunately for the new boss, he'll be without Andre Dozzell and Jack Colback. The former was sent off in the defeat against Leicester, while the latter picked up his fifth yellow card of the season.

Prediction

  • Rotherham suffered a critical defeat on the road against Yorkshire and relegation rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, losing 2-0 following a brace from former striker Michael Smith. The Millers are now just three points clear of Danny Röhl's side at the bottom of the Championship and are five points adrift from safety.
  • QPR produced a noble fight against unstoppable league leaders Leicester last weekend, but a second-half Andre Dozzell red card proved their undoing with the London club going on to lose 2-1. That proved enough to push the board over the edge and Gareth Ainsworth was sacked with Rangers sitting 23rd in the table off the back of six straight league defeats.
