Team News
Sheff Utd
Liverpool
- Sheffield United's list of absentees has gone up to eight ahead of this clash.
- Oliver McBurnie was dismissed in the 5-0 thrashing at Burnley and as such is suspended.
- Liverpool continue to be without Thiago Alcantara, Andy Robertson and Stefan Bajcetic.
- Diogo Jota and Alisson both suffered injuries against Manchester City and look set for a number of weeks on the sidelines.
- Joel Matip joins the list of players in the treatment room after picking up a knee injury which looks set to see him out for a while.
Well, it’s easily been one of the worst games of the season, but even sleepwalking, Sheffield United never looked like they posed a real threat. Defensively solid for the most part from both.
