Team News

Arsenal
Wolves
  • Jurrien Timber remains a long-term absentee for the Gunners.
  • Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe are also sidelined with respective injury concerns.
  • Fabio Vieira has undergone an operation for a groin issue, and also remains suspended.
  • Ben White should come back into the starting XI here, having recovered from injury.
  • Gary O'Neil is also without Pedro Neto and Joe Hodge, while Nelson Semedo will be assessed.
  • Craig Dawson can return for the visitors, having served a one-match ban for yellow card accumulation, but both Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes will have to sit this one out, having reached five bookings themselves.

Prediction

  • Arsenal made it four wins on the bounce when they put Lens to the sword in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
  • Mikel Arteta's side head into this one top of the Premier League for the first time this season.
  • Wolves were edged out in a close encounter with Fulham on Monday evening, in a match where Gary O'Neil's side will certainly count themselves as extremely unlucky, given the decisions made by VAR.
  • That defeat sees the visitors head into this one in 12th place, just a point behind Chelsea in 10th.
  • The hosts should make it five wins from five here.

  • big fat bts, Wolves are dangerous vs top teams.

  • Clear win for gunners… 3-1

  • Wolves are a very decent team and well coached by O'Neil. If they score first, they could make things very complicated for Arsenal. But if there is one thing that Arsenal always do well, it'd bullying small teams at the Emirates. Saka and Martinelli are getting back to form and Odegaard is back. If Arsenal scores early, Wolves could get teared apart like Lens. 4-1

  • 1-1
