Team News

Man Utd
Tottenham
  • Sofyan Amrabat is absent owing to his participation at the Africa Cup of Nations, but Andre Onana will play here despite Cameroon being in action 24 hours after Sunday's welcome of Tottenham.
  • Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez have been training and their return is a boost for head coach Erik ten Hag.
  • However, Victor Lindelof, Mason Mount and Tyrell Malacia remain absent.
  • Dejan Kulusevski has served his ban and returns to league duties here, however Tottenham have been dealt a blow with Giovani Lo Celso set for another spell on the sidelines.
  • Pape Sarr, Yves Bissouma and Son Heung-Min all miss out due to their respective participation at the Africa Cup of Nations and Asian Cup.
  • Cristian Romero has recovered from a hamstring injury quicker than expected and may start here, though Radu Dragusin might feature from the outset should he be registered in time should Ange Postecoglou wish to manage the Argentine's recovery.
  • Timo Werner is set to make his debut following his arrival from RB Leipzig.

Prediction

  • Manchester United booked their spot in the next round of the FA Cup on Monday night and it means they have now won two of their last three matches in all competitions. The Red Devils have also won three of their last four home league meetings with Tottenham.
  • A 1-0 win over Burnley on Friday night means Spurs have won five of their last six competitive matches. They have only won one of their last four on the road, however, but will be confident of claiming a huge three points against this disjointed United side.
  • While United will look to make home advantage count, Spurs may just inflict yet another defeat upon Erik ten Hag's side.

  • Eriksen and Evans would not be regulars in Burnley.........Varane max rotation there

  • 1-2

  • BTTS and over 2.5 goals.

  • @Marbella Goals were never in doubt :)

  • Should be a very attacking and entertaining game.

  • Son, Sarr, Bissouma, and Amrabat are on international duty.

  • Several people have made Tottenham favourites. I hope they are right but Tottenham have a terrible record at Old Trafford and United are under a lot of pressure to get a good result. McTominay, Martial, or Hojlund will probably have their best game of the season. Vicario has arguably been Tottenham's player of the season but perhaps today will be his off day. I'd be surprised if both Werner and Dragusin start but both should feature at some point. I'm probably more optimistic about the potential of the former to contribute this season (in contrast to most people) but we'll see. United 2-2 Tottenham

  • What are the odds on Werner scoring a screamer and Dragusin scoring an own goal?

  • no way for man utd to lose this game

  • @eqbalreza Assuming Manchester United is going to win here, is wild. Fan boy talk. I think less than 3.5 goals @ 1.77 is pretty safe.

  • @eqbalreza No way for a utd win. Tottenham or draw at least ;)

  • 2-2

  • draw
