Team News

Tottenham
Crystal Palace
  • Destiny Udogie will be assessed ahead of Saturday's welcome of Crystal Palace, but fellow full-back Pedro Porro is sidelined.
  • Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon are also absent.
  • Richarlison is out for the next few weeks with Son Heung-Min expected to lead the attack.
  • Oliver Glasner is expected to continue with a three-man backline here and will hope to have Joachim Andersen available for selection. Eberechi Eze is back for Crystal Palace and his return is a boost.
  • Cheick Doucoure, Rob Holding, Michael Olise, Marc Guehi and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi all miss out.
  • Glasner may go with the same XI that started last week's win over Burnley, though that is dependent on Andersen's fitness.

Prediction

  • Tottenham saw a five-game unbeaten run end at Wolves' expense last time out to leave them five points adrift of Aston Villa in the race for a top-four finish. Spurs do have a game in hand on those around them in the table, however, as their meeting with Chelsea last week was postponed and they'll hope the additional rest works in their favour.
  • Crystal Palace end a three-game winless streak when they beat 10-man Burnley at home last weekend. Oliver Glasner has made a positive start to life in south London.
  • Spurs, though, have won their last seven home meetings with Palace. The Eagles may look sturdier with Glasner in charge but the north London side should defeat their south London counterparts on Saturday.

  • Tottenham have looked like they were running out of steam and ideas. Without Porro and Udogie they lack a lot of threat. However, the break last week could turn out to be a valuable chance for a reset. Crystal Palace have a poor record against Tottenham and are missing Olise. Also 4 of the Eagles seven wins came against the bottom two clubs. Tottenham 2-1 Cystal Palace

  • Tottenham forward Richarlison will be OUT for "three to four weeks" with a knee injury, says boss Ange Postecoglou.
