Team News

Newcastle
Sheff Utd
  • Newcastle are without 10 players for their welcome of Sheffield United.
  • With little room for rotation, Eddie Howe may go with a similar looking XI that took on Crystal Palace in midweek, though is expected to revert to a 4-3-3 setup
  • Chris Wilder will hope to have Oliver McBurnie, Rhian Brewster and Jack Robinson available for selection with the trio doubts.
  • Wilder does have eight confirmed absentees to contend with, however.

Prediction

  • Newcastle's four-game unbeaten run came to an abrupt end in midweek as they fell to a 2-0 loss at Crystal Palace. Back on home turf, they'll be confident about getting back to winning ways on Saturday.
  • Sheffield United fell to yet another defeat in midweek despite go ahead twice against Manchester United on Wednesday. The Blades have now conceded 92 goals this season, a record in a 38-match Premier League campaign.
  • While the Magpies struggled in midweek, they should get back to winning ways on Saturday.

  • Sheffield about to be mathematically relegated, and good riddance. Pathetic lack of fight most of the season, and Holgate specifically deserves relegation for continuing what is a horrific pattern of basically assaulting opposition players with his awful challenge on Mitoma a few months back.

  • @sarigginsUSA Also, they will be the first PL side to ship 100+ goals in a 38 game season.

  • ice-hockey here, 5-2 or 6-3

  • over 4.5 goals

  • Over 3.5 goals

  • Sheff Utd have lost 12 of their 16 EPL away games.
