Team News

Brighton
Liverpool
  • Brighton are without no fewer than five players due to injury for Sunday's welcome of Liverpool.
  • Tariq Lamptey is expected to deputise for Pervis Estupinan at left-back.
  • Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota are suspended after their respective red cards against Tottenham last week.
  • Cody Gakpo sustained a knee injury in the 2-1 loss and joins Thiago Alcantara, Caoimhin Kelleher and Stefan Bajcetic on the sidelines.
  • Ryan Gravenberch impressed in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Union St.Gilloise and may deputise for Jones.

Prediction

  • Brighton fought back well to draw in Marseille on Thursday night having gone 2-0 down in France. The 2-2 draw, though, extends their winless run to three in all competitions, while the Seagulls have won just one of their last five.
  • Liverpool responded to their 2-1 defeat at Tottenham last week with a routine 2-0 win in midweek. The Reds haven't beaten Brighton in their last three attempts at the AMEX.
  • However, Brighton are in a bit of a funk at the moment, and that should boost Liverpool's chances of getting their league campaign back on track.

  • VAR ! VAR ! VAR! :p

  • Brighton will try everything to stop Liverpool victory

  • @Jameooo Really? You think so?

  • liverpool win, brighton is very overrated

  • I see a small draw here..

  • Liverpool getting red card booked is their own enemy. However, with 10 men, they beat Newcastle in a stunning comeback. This is not the end, with 2 men down against Spurs, their defence were one of the best. It’s not fair to count own goal in this perspective. Liverpool should beat Brighton (2.10). Second best pick for me would be Liverpool to win and both teams to score - 3.00

  • Under 4

  • Over 2.5 first half

  • 0-4 liverpool

  • Both sides will be tired from their europa league games.

  • All 7 of Brightons league games have gone over 3.5 goals this season.

  • @Marbella Yet another over 3.5 goals.

  • 2-2

  • @FF2021 You are good... I respect you. I didn't stake on it and it's so painful.
