  • I was sweating as i had over 2.5 double along with over 2.5 in the MU-Brighton game.

  • @Marbella Nice.

  • No more 90 minutes of game? Today 2 matches with more than 15 minutes of stoppage, curiouly that situation favoured 2 at home teams. I'm talking about Aston Villa y Spurs, obviously. Don't know why EPL wants to look like last WFC with endless matches, it's so boring.

  • @dib Sheffield United deliberately wasted huge amounts of time. That's why parts of the game were boring. The referee should have been booking them earlier to cut it out. As it was he had to add time on instead.

  • @MEHJones Thanks for the information. Didn't watch both matchs just pointed out that , by coincidence, both involved teams surmounted and scored 2 later goals in large stoppages . And they finally won. I disagree with large amount of add time for whatever reason. I hated that fact in the last WFC where in, i.e., England played his 1st match during 120 minutes. Greets.-

  • @dib After paying £70 and giving up my Saturday I expect to see a football match with the ball in play for at least 60 minutes not one team wasting as much time as possible. Last season the average ball-in-play time was at a 10-year-low and yet the tickets are as expensive as ever. The reason for the added time is the time wasters not "whatever reason".

  • I spoke too soon ¬ :)

  • Did this game score just stop updating???

  • Spurs what a joke very inconsistent.

  • @Marbella still time to win

  • @3shots there certainly is.

  • Wes Foderingham is the second coming of Jesus Christ omd

  • After the interruption to the league fixtures and shift in expectation I suspect Tottenham might off start a bit sluggish. Also although Sheffield United have lost three of their first four matches none of those loses were by more than a goal (even away to City). Tottenham 2-1 Sheffield United

  • Ange Postecoglou when asked if he is currently going through a honeymoon period at Spurs: "Are you married? I don't know what your honeymoon was like, but mine didn't have me losing the greatest player in the history of this club, trying to scramble to get players into the club, fighting for everything I do mate. That's not what my honeymoon was about."

  • It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can maintain their strong start to the season and momentum after the interruption caused by the international fixtures and now that many people's expectations have shifted somewhat. Also Ange Postecoglou has been awarded manager of the month which often seems like the kiss of death to good form.

  • Spurs 2-0

  • 2-2

  • Tottenham have scored at least two goals in all of their opening fixtures whereas Sheffield are yet to keep a clean sheet and have scored in three out of their four fixtures. The bookies would love a 0-0.
