Team News

Wolves
Tottenham
  • Jean-Ricner Belllegarde came off the bench to score against Sheffield United and is set to start here, potentially alongside Mario Lemina, though Gary O'Neil may push the Frenchman further forward too.
  • Pedro Neto is ruled out until later this month, as is Hugo Bueno, while Joe Hodge won't feature again until late-January at the earliest.
  • On the whole, O'Neil may opt against wholesale changes, which means Sasa Kalajdzic could lead the charge.
  • Tottenham endured a night to forget on Monday as they not only fell to a 4-1 home loss to rivals Chelsea but lost three key defenders in the defeat.
  • Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero are suspended following their respective red cards however the bigger blow is Micky van de Ven, who looks set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines having pulled up with a hamstring issue.
  • That'll likely see Ange Postecoglou field a makeshift backline, with Emerson Royal, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Eric Dier set to start in defence. Pedro Porro is also a major doubt with an ankle problem having only recently returned to training.
  • James Maddison is set for an extended spell on the sidelines according to reports due to an ankle injury, while Richarlison has undergone groin surgery and he joins Ivan Perisic, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon on the sidelines.
  • Rodrigo Bentancur may make his first league start since February should Maddison miss out, while Giovani Lo Celso, Oliver Skipp and Bryan Gil are also options for Postecoglou should the Spurs boss feel the Uruguayan is not ready to feature form the outset.

Prediction

  • Wolves fell to a late 2-1 loss at Sheffield United as they conceded another contentious penalty in the dying embers in Yorkshire. The result means Gary O'Neil's side have won only one of their last four, though they were unbeaten in five in the league prior to Saturday's defeat.
  • Tottenham's 4-1 loss to Chelsea came a great cost as they lost Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero to red cards, and Micky van de Ven to injury. Key men James Maddison and Pedro Porro are also doubts. Spurs have won four of their six trips to Molineux following Wolves' return to the Premier League back in 2018.
  • Wolves have performed better than many expected at the start of the season, but despite their huge list of absentees; Spurs should remain competitive in Saturday's lunchtime kick off.

  • The Spurs 'bubble' has burst :)

  • you guys just missed a lamina shot on target in the stats

  • Wolves have a very good recent record at home although Wolves and Tottenham have a habit of winning at each others home. Tottenham are without several key players due to injury and suspension but Wolves are without Neto. Wolves will probably allow Tottenham a lot of possession early on and Tottenham will have to make the most of it. Tottenham to score from a set piece (Dier or Davies header?) and Wolves to equalise on the break (HeeChan). Wolves 1-1 Tottenham

  • @MEHJones wow... You just said it and it 1-1 draw

  • @Starboy Not quite.
