Is Pep trying to make Haaland the top 1 scorer of all time? Mancity used to be a club that have 10 players on the field that can score, but now they only try to pass the ball to the center for Haaland. Those pathetic shot-on-target stats says it all. ManU didn't even play that good in this game. It is Pep that throws away the victory
The United is back
An offside so clear that it's not even worthy of a debate. Rashford was utterly influencing the course of play - chasing the ball, dragging a defender with him and even going for a shot, although he left it for another player in the last millisecond. If Rashford wasn't involved City's defenders would've taken care of Fernandesh easily. It was all so obvious and why the refs gave it the other way will remain a mystery.
@agunchev And you know better than all England refs who are trained to interpret these things. I hail you. Pls don’t hurt yourself so much because I know sure well that Man City dont even know you
@agunchev cry me a river
@agunchev I agree
In the last 2 games together ManCity had exactly one shot on goal !
@neumi17 It started in the game they won Chelsea 1-0, for first 37 minutes no single shot, I saw it too in their game with Saints Some thing is wrong with that team the earlier they sort it out the better.
@neumi17 ya, sad
Apparently it all kicked off with the players in the tunnel at the end of the game.
Well done ETH.
Looking forward to the MU game at Arsenal on Sunday 22nd.
Those who cry about the first goal of United should've just listened the commentator reading the rule after the game, clearly stating why it's not an offside. It's not just because of Rashford not touching the ball, he's also not blocking City players physically. Zero contact, totally legit goal.
@Byakuya my congratulations, ignorance is bliss.
@Byakuya But he went to the ball and influenced the play. That's usually Offside. City adapted their defensive line to him. Looked to me like ref lost his nerve when it happened
@alx30 that's not how you influence the game according to THE RULES of this sport. You can read them at FIFA's webpage under the section "Laws of the game"
@alx30 You can read? Try again, answer is there. I don't remember seeing your comment when Liverpool got away with many decisions against Wolves, since when "looked to me" is over the rules?
@alx30 lmao if you don’t interfere physically or touch the ball it’s legit Suarez gave a goal like this to Messi on a laliga match where he was far more offside than rashford and stay on ball until his coplayer come
The way to deal with a clinical striker is to snuff out the service. That was supposed to be very difficult with City. Turns out it's pretty easy. Sad to see City and Liverpool decline so much this season.
Wout will be a great target man and he has one of the best records as a 'high pressing' forward.
Well done MU. Shocking from City. Zero intensity and desire and bad mentality as so often with them. Wish Haaland had gone somewhere else.
Man U should sell Martial. Move Rashy to CF Antony and Garnacho on the wings There is also Pillistri, Sancho, Amad on the wings Get us top Striker, a rugged midfielder to replace Beek and another Rock in CB
Well done MU ! A great win.Haaland has been poor for the last few games.
Fartdiola is very overrated.
Just can't get my head round why that's not interfering with play, but United did deserve the win overall. Where's FairFootballfan to tell us all how terrible Rashford is?
Never say die . GGMU !
City had 0 shot on target against Southampton and only 1 today, it's rare to see City in a bad form like this. I'm sure most fans would be pissed off even with a draw because it was a great opportunity, United back in title race.
@Byakuya MU have been very impressive since ETH took over.It has taken time but they are getting there.
@Marbella better than when United finished 3rd and 2nd under Solskjaer?
Ten Hag is hero. He has changed MU to opposite direction.
First Manchester United goal was offside I’m afraid. Oh dear!
@JSOneHundred it wasn't Rashford was but he didn't interfere with play,
@JSOneHundred wasnt, Rashford did not touch a ball
So Rashford interferred in the play clearly at offside position, so it was an ilegit goal, so the referee it's a joke. I'm rooting for Utd but I'd like a victory without any referee help.
@dib you clearly don't know the rules of this sport, so how can you be rooting for anybody? noob
@dib more importantly he didn't touch the ball nor change the pattern of play for the opposition , its within the rules. Its a goal mate, good luck against Spurs !!!
Wan Bissaka must improve defending in the air, but he is getting back to some good level.
Man United win by 2-0
For some reason I'm getting bored to see City. Seems De Bruyne is playing in a low level, and Haaland is losing his lethal side also. Waiting for a better 2nd half.
@dib He never gets the ball and City midfield is really poor these days.
0-0, 1-0,0-1
United 1H win
Man city comfortable win 3-0 2-0.what do u expect from same player rashford,martial etc who already play 4-5 season.same old story.u know what they say,class is permanent form is temporarily
@Dickisonfire99 you are so wrong . Motivation is a key in this kind of clash and United have specialist on coach bench .
draw
It is a derby so over 2,5 should be obvious but if both decide play defensively then boring low score. Btts exactly same story. What you think guys ?
@Magix 0-0 bore draw
Certain over 2.5goals
A city win.
Man united win 1:0
ETH real test, Post Ronaldo era for UTD, Have to show whether he can walk the talk.
GG, City fan here and I can boldy predict we'll definitely concede and a goal is almost guaranteed with Haaland easy banker
1-1
Good luck
2-2 all happy
1-4 City to win and Haaland to score at least twice.
Wout Weghorst will NOT be available.MU missed the midday deadline as there is still some contract loan clauses to sort out.
2-2
City to constrict United here with at least 3 goals scored! Sorry United have struggled against half decent teams with 1 nil ones etc. city are coming for all 3 points. 0:2/3
@albgunn Lol, really? Wrong!!!!!
I think the back four for United will be Shaw - Martinez - Varane - Dalot.
@iq300 Dalot has a hamstring injury
Would expect Bernardo Silva to start this one.
@Dobbo25 Gündogan should be on the bench after how he played vs Southampton. Guardiola is unpredictable though.
Weghorst scored eight goals and registered four assists in 16 league games for Besiktas.
@Marbella it's Besiktas what you are competing to ?
Wout Weghorst will be in the MU squad for this game after joining on loan.
@Marbella Man U yet to register him and he never trained with the team. We don’t want Felix-Chelsea rush thing I prefer upfront Garnacho RW, Rashy CF, Antony RW Between FRED and Erickson I am still confused to to select. Erickson more technical but Feed steals ball and can annoy opponents the way he marks. For back line, we need height, speed and defenders that can read opponents moves KDB van shot and cross well Silva, Fodden and Mahrez can dribble well ETH needs to watch city matches with Chelsea and Saints, he will find city weakness
@COACHIE MU had until 12 noon today to register him for saturdayI am waiting for the ETH press conference shortly to clarify the situation.
United win, city lose. United's quadruple season obvious;y;
Since losing 3-1 at Aston Villa, Manchester United have won 8 games in a row. Rashford has scored in 7 of them. If only there was an easy, convenient explanation for that form. Such as that defeat at Villa being Ronaldo's final match for Man United....
@harteless I kept saying then Man U was playing less 1 or 2 players when Beek and CR7. Those two out of behind.
Big game, if United win then they will be right back in the title race after a fine run of form. Rashford has scored 7 in his last 6 matches. Most goals in Europe top leagues since the world cup.
Based on the early kick off curse im going with united double chance, reckon a draw though.
