Team News
Norwich
Tottenham
- Mathias Normann took a knock to the ankle against Wolves, but has trained and could start alongside Lukas Rupp in the middle of the park.
- Dean Smith has revealed that Billy Gilmour and Ben Gibson are doubts with respective ankle and back issues. The former has returned to Chelsea to be assessed, but could still yet feature.
- Gibson's potential absence may see Smith revert to a four-man backline for the welcome of Tottenham.
- Lucas Moura is expected to drop out for Dejan Kulusevski from the side that started the 1-0 win over Burnley last weekend, but Antonio Conte is unlikely to make sweeping changes.
- Expect Davinson Sanchez to keep his spot at the back with Cristian Romero recently joining Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon, Japhet Tanganga and Oliver Skipp on the sidelines.
- Kulusevski and Hugo Lloris were among those who suffered with a stomach bug last week, but the pair featured against Burnley with no ill-effects.
- Harry Kane has reportedly felt unwell leading into Sunday's game, but should be fine to feature.
- That said, Kane is supposedly travelling to Norwich on his own, while Ryan Sessegnon and Emerson Royal are also allegedly struggling with the same virus.
Before the season began, 20 BBC TV and radio pundits made predictions for the top four and none of them picked Tottenham. Congratulations Tottenham on proving the pundits wrong yet again!
Antonio Conte has done an amazing job at Spurs. He now needs to Levy to agree to sign him 5-6 new players in the summer to make an impact in the champions league.
@Rensen Conte is not coach for CL. But whit few extra players he can have real go at wining PL after all he have beaten klop and pep to it before
It fun to see that some juve rejects are caring totenham to top 4 for d first time in few years
@svetoslav it's less fun to see Juve were unable to get the best out of two fine players
@dSquib Even Chiesa will flop if Juventus continues employing Alzawahegri. Chiesa was already having a lousy season before getting injured.
Cmon Son you need to score
Both teams to score - NO @1.80
Norwich are already relegated but that also means they can play without stress and anxiety. I fully expect them to score. However, Tottenham really should have enough to get a result (provided they avoid the lasagne). Tottenham to score early but Norwich to equalise before half time. Son to score second half. Norwich 1-2 Tottenham
@MEHJones That's a nice script if you are the coach. However, Conte is the coach who will have his team play extra cautiously. These Italian coaches take pride in playing a minimalist game, which in this case means 0-0!
@Zoltan I wouldn't be surprised if Norwich city to score because they are like Greuther Fürth of bundesliga, the weakest but always find a way to score against big clubs. A scoreline of 1-3 is possible. I highly expect Son to score.
@Abdulski97 it wouldn't surprise me if Tottenham get a late third but I think it's crucial Tottenham score first.
Almost guaranteed heavy Spurs win here. As much as I need aand want Spurs to muck this up, I just don't see it. Norwich are tosh and have little to play for except pride.
@Overmars your predictions tend to be pretty on point every season.
@Overmars Pride is pretty important to me Dude! In fact, when I play for pride, I usually do my best! ;)
I will be shocked if this match didn't end 1-1
Both to score.
@Finucci What do you base this on? Norwich have the worst goalscoring record in the league and Spurs have the strongest defensive form right now (last 6 games). Both to score seems like a terrible bet.
@RobertoElg I was warning you on time that Norwich might not score. Thanks to who scored, they deleated my warning. You may thank them! :)
@RobertoElg Maybe, but for me its looks like typical "strongest def team vs last on tab team" match. You have experienced it many times if You have been betting for a long time. Norwich can score on this match. ;) Btts @2.20 nice odds.
@Finucci 0 shots on target
@Finucci no they cant and they didnt.
@Finucci I agree and was going to post something similar. It would be typical football for Norwich to score.
