Team News

Leicester
Southampton
  • James Justin and Ricardo Pereira could start this one after rests on Thursday night at Chelsea.
  • Injury could again rule Youri Tielemans out in what could potentially be his last chance to play for Leicester.
  • Brendan Rodgers may revert to a back four for the task of facing Southampton on Sunday, with Harvey Barnes returning to the side.
  • James Maddison has scored in three straight Premier League appearances to finish the campaign strongly.
  • Fraser Forster missed Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool and remains a doubt here. Romain Perraud is out for over a month with a small fracture in his leg.
  • Stuart Armstrong was fit to feature from the bench in midweek and will push for a start here.
  • Jan Bednarek was dropped to the bench against Liverpool and will push for a recall here.
  • Armando Broja will play his final game for Southampton before returning to parent club Chelsea in the summer.
  • Moussa Djenepo hasn't started a Premier League match since October but could be a wildcard option on the final day at left wing-back.
  • Oriol Romeu has dropped to the bench for Southampton's last two games with Ibrahima Diallo preferred.
  • Nathan Redmond will hope to keep his place in the side after netting his first league goal of the season in midweek.

Prediction

  • Leicester earned a 1-1 draw away to Chelsea on Thursday night to extend their unbeaten run to three games. They can only improve on their current position of ninth place by one position if they better Wolves' result on the final day.
  • Southampton lost 2-1 to Liverpool on Tuesday and cannot improve on their current 15th position even with a win at Leicester. They could actually drop to 16th if Everton beat Arsenal on the final day in what has been a disappointing campaign for the club.
