Team News

Brentford
Leeds
  • Thomas Frank could welcome back a trio of injured players for the final game of the season with Frank Onyeka, Ethan Pinnock and Saman Ghoddos not far from a return.
  • Raphinha and Jack Harrison were fit to start last weekend's draw with Brighton and Patrick Bamford has a chance of returning here.
  • Luke Ayling and Dan James are still suspended for Jesse March's side. The latter's ban will extend into next season.
  • Joe Gelhardt will keep his place in the side after playing a key role in Leeds' draw with Brighton.
  • Marsch is expected to name an unchanged XI, though Pascal Struijk is pushing for a start after scoring a stoppage-time equaliser last time out.

Prediction

  • Brentford will look to finish the season in front of their home fans on a high. Thomas Frank's side have won five of their last seven in the Premier League.
  • Leeds head into the final weekend in the bottom three and needing to better Burnley's result to beat the drop.
  • Leeds are winless across their last five matches and are winless away to Brentford across their last seven.

  • I just hope Leeds keep Jesse Marsch as manager. He has done well since he took over bu needs a lot more time to make them a possible mid table side.Key signings in the summer will be crucial.

  • So I was wrong. I thought Leeds were doomed since about February: particularly without Cooper in defence.

  • @MEHJones - Cooper wasn't a huge loss. Sure, he's the captain, but he's a Championship-level player just like Leeds' other 3 centre backs are. Phillips and Bamford were far bigger absents. Weirdly all 3 were injured against Brentford in December, when Leeds also scored in the 94th minute.

  • Nice to see Leeds have avoided relegation.

  • Over 100 cards in a season and counting, dirtiest team in Premier League history. Leeds will back where they belong, Brentford and over 2,5 goals at 3,10.

  • Bamford anytime goal. Wild match.

  • Double chance: 1X @1.44

  • Leeds to get relegated.

  • @MEHJones Do they wish that they had stuck with Bielsa? Hhhmmm, not sure about that---. I think Leeds are going down, too. Dirty Leeds!
