- Conte may elect to name an unchanged XI from the side that started the victory over the Seagulls.
- Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski both impressed off the bench over the weekend, but the deadline day arrivals aren't likely to be handed first starts so soon.
- Lyanco has been ruled out for several months with a serious hamstring injury.
- Armando Broja hasn't trained since Saturday but could make the squad in midweek.
- Valentino Livramento made his first appearance since December in the FA Cup win at the weekend.
- Nathan Tella and Alex McCarthy are still sidelined but Will Smallbone could return.
Fair play. Southampton pressed very well and created a lot of chances.
Spuds completely outplayed.
Tottenham played well against Brighton in the FA Cup: the defence looked a lot better with Romero back and Sánchez moved to the right; Kane and Son also both looked more dynamic than they have for a while. Conte will be keen to build on that momentum here and seems to be starting with the same side and shape. Kulusevski and Bentancur who both looked useful against Brighton may make their league debuts. Southampton have a fairly poor away record (P11 W2 D3 L6 gf12 ga 24) but are dangerous from free kicks. It should be an interesting match. Tottenham 3-1 Southampton
